About Reverse Mortgages
ReVisions Resources launched the Reverse Mortgage Experts information program
in 2005 in response to the National Council on the Aging's (NCOA's) initiative
"Use Your Home to Stay at Home." The purpose of the initiative is to expand
the use of reverse mortgages, particularly the government-authorized Home Equity
Conversion Mortgages (HECMs). Most people want to live independently in their
own homes regardless of their health and age. A reverse mortgage can make aging
in place possible.
